How to Paint wall panels - Guide By Dulux

Do your wall panels need to be redesigned? Here's how to fast and simply alter them.

Wall panels are a fantastic element in any area, and with proper maintenance, they can give your space personality and intrigue. You may add colour to your wall panels with Simply Refresh, which will improve the overall look of your house.

You’ll need:
Simply Refresh for wall panels
Paint stirrer
Paint tray
Brush
Roller
Dustsheets
Sand paper and sanding block
Masking tape
Cloth
Sponge
Degreaser

Prepare

1) First things first, secure your workspace. If your panels are already painted, lightly sand them to create a porous surface and get rid of any loose or flaky paint. Utilise a sanding block for the panel's major components to get a uniformly smooth surface, and for any hard-to-reach areas, just use sand paper.

2) After removing any dust and cleaning them with degreaser, let them dry.

3) Apply a mask along the floor or where the panelling meets the walls, ceiling, skirting, or flooring.

1) Pour your Dulux paint into the paint tray after giving it a thorough stir.

2) Use a brush to paint all of the panelling's details at first, then move to a roller for bigger surfaces. Take a    look at the suggested drying time on the back of the tin to see how long you should leave your panels.

Clean

1) Remove as much paint as you can from your brush, roller and tray.

2) Give them a thorough wash in water, there’s no need to use white spirit.

3) Firmly close the paint tin and store in a dry and frost-free environment.
